"Play" stored positions - instead of video
Video generation is just too slow for me. So I never bother. But I was to show some planning to the neighbours, and what does work well is to take them from one stored viewpoint to the next. But it is a bit clunky to do it manually.
How about a function that took you from view point to view point with a time lapse - a slide show in the 3D window if you like. Maybe with arrow selectors in the 3D window? (Preferably also as part of the Sweet Home 3D viewer).
Just a thought (while waiting for a low-res video).

The best place for this feature could be a Create slideshow in Create photos at points of view dialog box, but I fear that it will require a lot of options to fit everybody's tastes. As nowadays all systems propose some slideshow feature from a selection of pictures, isn't it more reasonable to just create the images with this dialog box, and trust system tools?

I guess. And I certainly agree that making the perfect solution would require (too) many options.
My thought was just something very simple - just a short-cut from the 3D window to (each) stored view would do nicely for me - or a short-cut to the "Playback animation" linked to the view-points ("Animated playback of view-points")
Anyway, just a thought. Nothing I am very concerned about :-).

Re: "Play" stored positions - instead of video
Another great argument for linking points of view from 'buttons' in the 3D screen :
I have been putting up outside security cameras (yes, I have been burgled, several times, very annoyed) and realised that SH3D is useful in the planning. For each camera I place the virtual visitor in the identical position (and identical angles) as the surveillance camera model. Then I adjust, jump from view point to view point and check out the camera coverage, then I start the wiring.
Using SH3D saved me a lot of work with temporary camera attachments to see camera views before installing. Not to mention placing the cameras so they are in the shade and not easy to spot.
