Wall not connected to ceiling

Hi,

I would like to draw low interior walls that are 1,2m high. So they are should not connect to ceiling, they just seperate two rooms.
I was able to draw the walls, but ceiling is always connected to the top of the low walls.

Any idea?

Create a separate level for these low walls?

Don't place room corners close to the smaller walls. Generally, it's better in your case to draw the points of the room corner by corner avoiding the small walls.

Re: Wall not connected to ceiling

Hi all,

I have a similar problem:
I need draw smaller wall socle in the restroom and bath. I create new wall at lower size and put it in touch to regular room wall. It looks good but if I want to see ceiling it is incorrect - the ceiling touch the smaller wall...

How to correctly create „socle“ - e.g. http://www.zednictvi-premek.cz/_files/galery/...wc-moravsky-krumlov-4.jpg

Disable magnetism and move away the corners of the room within the main wall, so those corners will be closer to the other side of the wall. The area of the room will be wrong but the rendering will be correct.
If you can't do it, just tell, I'll try to give more details.

Re: Wall not connected to ceiling

Finally I found a workaround. There is a general cube shape in the inventory. You can change the dimensions of it so it can be used as small wall. It will behave as a furniture but it's fine.

Here it is:
