Re: Sweet Home 3D 4.0
m@, thanks for reporting this issue. I could reproduce it this way: import a zip file containing a 3DS file, save your SH3D file, close your home. Each time you reopen it, the order of materials may change and so, the index of the material color you set may concern a different material. But there's an easy workaround: import the 3DS file and not the ZIP file it contains. This implies a different process in Sweet Home 3D because the 3D model will be internally saved as an OBJ file which doesn't produce this kind of "material reordering" (it's probably the reason why this bug was detected lately).
Argh, I was about to release the version 4.0 and if I fix this bug, I will have to rebuild all the installers! Nevertheless, I'll see if it's easy to fix.

Re: Sweet Home 3D 4.0
Oh sorry about that
You are really doing a great job with SH3D and i would be more than happy if the big software company at my workplace would provide the same great support than you do!

Re: Sweet Home 3D 4.0
I fixed the bug and it will be available in the final release of the version 4.0, in the coming hours.
Oh sorry about that
Don't be sorry! You saved time to other users who won't encounter this issue, and time for people at support who won't have to answer to questions about this problem.

Re: Sweet Home 3D 4.0
It seems that the fields to enter width and depth of furniture where mixed up; with changes the depth and vice versa (happens in the import dialog as well as in the modify dialog, so at least the behavior is constant). I tested with several objects from several sources, the behavior is always the same. It's not a big problem, but maybe you still want to fix it in the next release.

m@, I didn't succeed to reproduce your issue. Maybe there's an other condition...

Re: Sweet Home 3D 4.0
Hi Emmanuel
I checked again and found out that the confusion between width and depth only happens with some models, with some other not. Therefore, the problem seems to origin in the models and not in your software. Sorry for bothering you about that!
By the way, it would be nice to explain why you can't render photos. Jumping to previous versions won't help to fix bugs if you found one.
