Re: White Space Between Grass & Sky

Shaun, it's really difficult to say without any image or file. Nothing changed on that side between version 3.5 and 3.6. Can you try with versions 3.5 again? Or send me your file?

Re: White Space Between Grass & Sky

hi emmanuel I sent you the file you requested, sorry to be a pain, its just that your program is great and i love using it, maybe
this will fix something that is wrong. one thing i have noticed is that the bigger the file gets the bigger the
white line gets. also maybe you misunderstood me in the post, it did the same thing in java exec 3.5, not only in 3.6.
cheers shaun.

Re: White Space Between Grass & Sky

hi emmanuel hope you are well. i downloaded sweet home 3d ver 3.6 for windows on my daughters computer,
which is running windows xp and exported my file to it, rendered a portion of the video and unfortunately for
me no white line, this at least means that there is no problems with the file. in your opinion do you feel that
it might be a windows 7 issue, or that in my pursuit for speedier rendering using java exec with 10 gig allocated
to the program is the problem. sorry to continue to bother you with this request, its just that with the size of the files
that i end up with after i have completed the whole house would take days to render the video in the standard windows
version and thus leave sh3d useless to me. this would be a great dissapointment as your program is top notch.
cheers shaun.

Re: White Space Between Grass & Sky

I don't think allocating more memory would make a difference in your case. 10 GB is already a lot, and your model should work perfectly with less than 2 GB.
Did you check if an update is available for the video card driver of your computer?

Re: White Space Between Grass & Sky

hi emmanuel hope you well. the hp 8200 elite that i use does not come with a dedicated graphics card, but rather uses a page file for graphics, so could not update drivers for it. subsequent to our discussion i installed a nvidea geforce 640, 2 gig dedicated card and it made no difference, still the white line. did some experiments on the four different video levels though, and found that on level 1 and 2 i get white line, but on 3 and 4 no white line, i am stumped, this one is for clever people like yourself to solve, please help!!! cheers shuan.

Re: White Space Between Grass & Sky

Sad to read your attempts didn't fix your issue.
The 2 first and the 2 last quality levels are computed in a completely different way, and actually, the 2 best levels don't use the graphics card.
