From 2.6 to 3.4 version
On my Windows Xp I have installed a long time version 2.6 of Sweet Home, and it works perfectly. If I upgrade to the latest 3.4 version, let me know if I have problems opening my (very important!) SH3D old files. If you think I can safely upgrade version, I would like to know what the correct way to do it (uninstall the previous or install directly the new over?).Excuse my bad English, thanks!

Re: From 2.6 to 3.4 version
Lola,
New versions are compatible with old versions. So you can install v3.4 and open your old files. Please note that files saved with a newer version cannot be used reliably with older versions.
On my PC (which uses Ubuntu as operating system) I have all versions installed next to each other (well, at least from v2.1), so I can always go back to an older versions.

You don't have to uninstall the version 2.6 to install the version 3.4.

Lola,
If you keep both versions, first start SH3D, then open the file you want to work on. This way you avoid that Windows determines which version it uses to open your file.
