Ceiling Texture distorted
Dear Members,
I'm not sure what the problem is. I have constructed the ground floor of my new house. I have first created all the walls and second all the rooms (most of them by double clicking (Kitchen and Living Room I had to do manually as there will be no wall between them). In the toilet room I created a half height wall where the toilet will be mounted.
When the half height wall is in the room (or any other room in fact) it distorts the ceiling texture (or color). Take a look at these screenshots: Image 1 In the next screenshots I added a floor texture to the ceiling for better visibility: Image 2 Image 3 - without the half height wall Image 4

Re: Ceiling Texture distorted
Frank,
You diagnosed your problem correctly: ceilings get distorted when over walls with different heights. Solution part 1: delete the wall. Solution part 2: insert a box that has the same size as your wall, and give it the texture you want.

Re: Ceiling Texture distorted
Hansmex, thanks for your help.
Replacing the wall with a box did work. However, creating a photo of the so created room did not show the box/wall. On the photo it was simply not existing. Do you have any idea why?

Re: Ceiling Texture distorted
Yup it definitely works....i tried it in a new model againa and it works....
1.create the walls first. 2.create the room by double clicking or make it on your own. 3.create the half wall(s). 4. Be sure to check on display ceiling.
