Re: In Mac OSX program "hangs" when I go to move an object

To reset the library as the one that comes with Sweet Home 3D, drag the folder Library/Application Support/eTeks/Sweet Home 3D found in your home folder to the dustbin. This won't remove the models in the SH3D files you created.

Re: In Mac OSX program "hangs" when I go to move an object

OK I think I found the problem. In my Model, I have three downloaded objects, two trees and a water tank. When I deleted these it dropped the size of the model down to 6mb. One tree is called "Sassafras", the other "weeping Willow" and the other "Water Tank". I will try the model without these and see what happens. I guess maybe a good idea in 3D would be an "inspector" where you could see things like the size of the individual components on the model.(if its not already there)

Jackson,

Mediafire allow 5 GB of free storage, not 5 MB. You may have a reading problem after all.

You may want to read this post to see how you can inspect an SH3D file.

The two trees you mention are large, but perfectly normal models, not known to cause any problems. So the water tank is a more likely suspect.
