Very special box - one sided
Hello all,
With transparency possible in SH3D v3.0, I thought it would be nice to have a box specially made for transparent textures. Basically it's a normal box; the difference is that 5 sides are made invisible. If you apply a (partially) transparent texture to the box, the texture will show only on the visible side. If you apply a colour, just one side will show it.
Note that as in all SH3D models, the colour or texture shows only when seen from the front. If you need the colour or texture to show on two opposite sides, you will have to use two boxes back-to-back.
There are a lot of creative possibilities for such a box, IMHO.

UPDATE
Don't use the attachment above! The box isn't really invisible when rendered.
The correct box is attached to this post.
Note that the visible side is visible only from the front. If looked at from behind, the visible side is invisible. Read this line again if you think I'm going mad

Emmanuel Puybaret i just wanted to ask you that can you make some arrangements that we can upload our models directly to import page....but there can be conditions if u accept those then only they will appear coz i find it really difficult to upload one of my models coz its size becomes 4.3.. like that in .zip file also....just a sugestion.....i know its really bad idea!!

wrosun, the current way to contribute new models is to post them in 3D Models Contributions Tracking System as suggested at the end of Import 3D models page. Caution! I think trackers don't accept files bigger than 256 KB, but I'm sure you can reduce the size of that ist2_3816746-great-shiny-silver-or-tin-metal-foil-background-texture.jpg file you included in the TV you designed.
