applause imported files

Puybaret Hello! I wonder if after importing furniture for a Sweet Home3D, I delete the original file, or need to keep them in a folder outside the program? Before they disappeared when the program excluded the file. After the rendering problem be solved, they always are in the program even if I delete the source file. I'm afraid to delete all, and they disappear from the program. I tried and did not find the answer. Thanks. Hug. I use a translator.

Re: imported files

You can delete the imported files or move them wherever you want, except I you use the Online version where the customized furniture catalog isn't saved on the server.
On the downloadable version, Sweet Home 3D copies the furniture files imported in the catalog in internal directories that are not deleted when you upgrade to the next version, and saves also the furniture used in a home in its SH3D file, to let you move a SH3D file easily from one computer to the other. This applies also to image files imported as textures.

Re: imported files, how can I delete the files

"Sweet Home 3D copies the furniture files imported in the catalog in internal directories"...can you please let me know where the files are stored?

I imported a few furniture pieces just for testing and want to delete them from the catalog but I can't seem find the files.

How do I delete them from the catalog?
