The subscription cancellation process is deliberately obscure and intend to defraud customer who intended to cancel. The 'warning' is not a warning, neither can you directly request a subscription cancellation via the payment vendor, nor through any normal portal. The only course of action is a direct email, which is not reliable.
I intend to report my experience to the FTC and hopefully get an investigation opened into these unethical practices.
