The house file is gone after installing alternative java support

After installing alternative Java support, my sh3d files (the whole house) disappeared. I was unable to find them, even using utilities to recover erased files. Any suggestion?

I found a previous copy (not complete) in a temp directory but it's necessary to fix this bug.

I never heard about such a problem.
What do you mean by "installing alternative Java support"?
On system which do you work?

By "installing alternative Java support" I mean this link:
javascript:launchSweetHome3DDirectX()
As long as I was unable to run the program from my advanced user account (no problem from the administrative account), I followed the FAQ guidelines. So, I discovered the typical log about fatal error from Java runtime environment and I installed the alternative DirectX support. Now it's possible to run the program from my user account.
System information:
OS: Windows XP Build 2600 Service Pack 3
CPU:total 2 (2 cores per cpu, 1 threads per core) family 6 model 15 stepping 13, cmov, cx8, fxsr, mmx, sse, sse2, sse3, ssse3
Memory: 4k page, physical 1047788k(612500k free), swap 2522632k(2128356k free)
vm_info: Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (16.0-b13) for windows-x86 JRE (1.6.0_18-b07), built on Dec 17 2009 13:35:55 by "java_re" with MS VC++ 7.1 (VS2003)
