Furniture in Linux version of Sweet Home 3D
I have recently moved to the Linux version of SH3D and have noticed that the number of furniture items and textures is significantly less than the Windows version.
Is there a plan to add these into the Linux version anytime soon? I know they can be added manually, which I've done, however it does extend the time to get starting to use the app.

Re: Furniture in Linux version of Sweet Home 3D
Don't expect these to be added to the Linux version. There's no app-store on Linux and thus no possibility for a paid version and that seems to be the only interest for Spacemushrooms. There is really no need because as you said you can import anything you want. Start with the furniture libraries from the Sweet Home 3D site. From my site you can also download complete libraries. Libraries are easy to import. You can also use the Furniture Library Editor to create your own libraries with all the individual furniture you have. A quick start with a new install: copy all the furniture libraries you have to the .eteks/sweethome3d/furniture directory in your user directory. After restart all these libraries will be loaded. The same works with the texture libraries (.eteks/sweethome3d/textures directory). Note that the .eteks directory is a hidden directory (because of the .), switch on the visibility of hidden folders in your file manager to see it.
For textures you can download the AmbientCG texture libraries here: https://github.com/fabien-michel/sweethome3d-textures-ambientcg/releases This is a huge library with excellent textures. Use the 256 or 512 version, the 1024 is a little overkill for Sweet Home 3D.
