Merci! From what I've seen, you've grasped the essentials. Otherwise, the sky's the limit (or the limits of the computer). Unfortunately, it's addictive (at least for me) and distracts me from the main goal: to make it work and make it good. But if you are happy, I'm happy too. That's is.

Looks very interesting! I've installed the plugin. I may try this for some bedroom furniture I want to make with recessed panels and outer wood trim. The trim is rounded itself though. As far as the bevel feature goes it looks like only a flat angled bevel. Will the bevel work with shapes made with curved walls? Maybe in the future there can be other bevel shape options but not sure that's possible like a convex and concave curved bevel choices too...

Take a look at my DodecagonShapes library. I have added rounded bevel shapes for an inset bevel. The shapes for an outside rounded bevel have been part of the library for a long time. You could have created similar shapes with the new MBC plugin but it would require several steps to get to the inset corner. And of course the shapes in the library are optimized to only have those faces that are visible.

Thanks cool Keet and may come in handy down the road. I have to make custom curved inserts as molds for trims to make scale models of an 80's bedroom set we have. For now they will probably have right angles and textures will help fake the curves with edge shadows in the textures I'll apply.

Boolean operations would work nicely with the 3D objects generator plugin I'm workong on :-)

Tell us more! I've been thinking about such a plugin but I simply can't find the time without giving up on 'normal' Sweet Home 3D work.
