Set focus back to coordinates box

(Not possible to paste images here?)

I click "Create rooms" and then "Enter" to get the blue spot and the little popup with its coordinates. But if I now relocate the mouse cursor, the focus from the coordinates box is lost.

How do I get focus back to the coordinates box numbers so I can manually set values? I've tried everything I can think of.

Thank you!

P.S If I am posting in the wrong forum, kindly tell me where I should have posted it so I won't repeat the mistake. Thanks!

Upload your image to a file host like mediafire or imgur and post the link here. If the host allows hotlinking use the Image button, otherwise the http button.

You are going about it in the wrong way. There are several ways to create a room. The most common is to first create the walls, then click the rooms icon and double click inside the walls. The room will be created inside the walls.

Another way is to click the create room icon and then click where you want to start the room. move the mouse and click again for the second corner, repeat until you added the last point. 'Esc' stops the process.

The blue box you saw appears because you pressed enter. You can set the precise lenght in the direction that is active. At that point a second box will apppear to add a side in a 90° angle. Again you can set the lenght in the blue box. You can change the angle before entering the lenght by moving the mouse and then press enter again for the blue box.

And lastly you can add the AdvancedEdit plugin. It's a must-have plugin. Among multiple other handy functions it also has a function to edit room&polyline points. You can drag room points, set exact coordinates, and add&remove points.

Pick the method that best fits your need!
