Hi all! My OS is Ubuntu 22.04.5 LTS I have SweetHome3D ver.7.3 installed (and running OK). After update, I have also SweetHome3D ver.7.5 installed (and running OK). How can I remove the old version 7.3? Thank you in advance.

Re: Uninstall from Ubuntu 22
Just leave it. You have a working version 7.5 so use that. If you know where the 7.3 version is installed you could remove it but make sure you leave the user directory untouched. Both versions probably use that same base.

Re: Uninstall from Ubuntu 22
As far as I know there is no uninstall procedure unless you installed through the repository. Then you can uninstall using the repository but make sure you first create a back up of the /home/<username>/.eteks directory because that might be uninstalled too (I never used/tried it). That is where your preferences and installed libraries/plugins are, you want to keep that for the new version. Note that '.' before 'eteks' indicates a hidden directory. In the file manager you have to switch on "Show hidden directories" to see it.
On Debian the directory is /usr/share/sweethome3d when installed from the repository but if you installed using the downloaded .tgz it is where you extracted that .tgz.
(The "eteks" name might change now that Sweet Home 3D is taken over by Space Mushrooms)
