how far you can get in the first 1,5 hours (+ rendering time)

my first finalized bird view scene:

rendered in 1200x900 at quality level 4 (highest) and then scaled down to 600x450 plus applied median filter
full res image
the thing i want to point out for you is the very low wall along the path from the entrance to the car.

(and yes the biggest worries i had were the permanent surface flickering in the preview window due to edge positioning problems. having a better snap-to-corner mode or zoom dependent catch distance would be very fine.)

my first first-persons-view scene preview:

the scenery is fictional.
if someone is really interested in he scene data then just respond below.

i would have put a mirror in it and a few trees,
but guess what - i found those extra new goodies
only after i was done over there at the new furniture section.

PS: dont forget to add a few pets, farm animals and beasts to the wishlish, just for the case you ever plan to model a few more things. ;-)
