Re: Years of Projects hang on MacBookProM1Max after Sonoma 14.1.1 update?
Sorry to be back here again so soon. There is apparently something more seriously off as project I worked on today won't reload without Force Quit after restarting computer, and shows up in a newly created Recovery folder in same place. Tried moving that but then project partially opens with small B&W watches over each on screen library item with spinning ball Force Quit as only option. Open to suggestions at your convenience, please. Thank you.

Rolf, would you mind to update macOS to 14.2 released this week to check if Sweet Home 3D behaves better?

Re: Years of Projects hang on MacBookProM1Max after Sonoma 14.1.1 update?
Mac Sonoma 14.2 upgrade done for ver 7.2.1 from Mac App Store. While recent files open and changes can be made, still nothing will print. Even if modify Page Setup to exclude furniture list and 3D view, a one level floor plan also produces beachball Force Quit as only option. The same occurs whether 3D View in main window, separated on same monitor, or showing on a different monitor (preferred for easier viewing). Also same results after Save and Compress. Appreciate the help as trying to design a home addition and I like your program. Thank you.

So there's some progress, which is already some good news. About printing, note that you can copy/paste selected items in the furniture list in spreadsheet software, copy/paste selected items in the plan in imaging or word processing software and generate images of the 3D view with the photo creation tool. At least, this will let you circumvent your printing issue. Thanks for your feedback.
