Texturing bugs on some objects.
Hi,
When I apply a texture on some objects, like the kitchen cabinet given with SweetHome3D, the texture doesn't appear on the sides of the object.
Instead, there are lines of the same color of the texture.
I tried to add texture coordinates in the .obj file, it works, but the texture doesn't render at the same scale than faces that do not have texture coordinates.
Is there a way to apply a texture on these faces, with the same scale than the other faces of the object ?

Re: Texturing bugs on some objects.
Weird problem, especially since the furniture that comes with Sweet Home 3D usually doesn't have any problems. Anyway, you can scale. rotate, and shift each material where you select a texture. (The fields above the "Import" button.)
Did you use one of the default textures or an imported texture? Does the same problem occur when you use one of the default textures that come with Sweet Home 3D? If the same problem doesn't occur with one of the default textures you have found what causes the problem: the texture itself.

These models don’t have so called texture coordinates, the reason why a texture applied on them will appear like stretched lines on their left and right sides. This is probably annoying only on the first and last cabinets in a row, and you can put there a thin box found in Miscellaneous category to circumvent this issue.

So, I will have to scale manually the textures.
Or do what I do: create ALL your furniture yourself so you have full control over every part and surface. Most of my custom furniture is 100% created with Sweet Home 3D and a simple text editor.
