Which version of SweetHome3D requires which version of OpenGL
I think that this post must become sticky. It is up to you.

I try to install SweetHome3D in my children trash laptop with support of OpenGL 2.0.

Of course it does not work because it requires OpenGL X > 2.0.

So, for me:
Which version of SweetHome3D can run on OpenGL 2.0?

For everyone else:
Which version of SweetHome3D can run on which version of OpenGL?
e.g.
SH3D 1 requires OpenGL 1.
SH3D 2 requires OpenGL 3.3+.
etc.

Thanks. Changes of JOGL or Java 3D versions mentioned in history should give you the main steps.

For old GPUs with OpenGL 2.0 the LATEST version is SweetHome3D 5.4.

Keep in mind that different GPUs can support OpenGL 2.0 but can also support some (different between them) OpenGL extensions.
So, there is a (tiny) chance that other GPUs with OpenGL 2.0 support will run e.g. up to version 5.5 and others up to 5.3.
