Re: Weird 3D Artifacts
Creating a polyline is working fine : it appears correctly in 3D view, without any artifact.
I just created a plan with 5 rooms (17 walls) -> no artifact But... I've added another room, still ok, and then another one : artifacts appeared on the ground. It's different from the other artifacts which are going in all 3D directions (x,y,z) : these ones are only on (x,y) plan. Moving the room (the floor, without the walls) outside of the 'house' will make the artifacts disappear...

Re: Weird 3D Artifacts
These artifacts are probably due to superimposed surfaces, which may happen sometimes. They must happen with driver 22.5.1 too.

Re: Weird 3D Artifacts
Could some of you try the version 7.0.2e [link removed] ? It creates furniture 3D models using parameters similar to the ones used for walls and rooms, and maybe it could fix the issue in recent Adrenaline driver versions. Thanks!
[Update: I removed the version 7.0.2e from downloads since it didn't permit any progress. See following messages]

Re: Weird 3D Artifacts
Thanks for your tests. So sad that my idea didn’t lead to a working solution As always, it’s much more difficult to fix a bug that I don’t have the means to reproduce.

Re: Weird 3D Artifacts
I've found 2 posts describing rendering issues since Adrenalin 22.7 (not the same as for SH3D). Seems to impact many applications... All this just to speed up Minecraft !

Re: Weird 3D Artifacts
Thanks for those links. I found it interesting that for Blender users they could "fix" the problem by changing MSAA settings.
I tried the settings listed here (which appear to be the default settings anyway), and tried "resetting" the settings, but it made no difference at all.
I've also tried various different combinations of all the settings in the antialiasing area of the driver config, and I've added a custom profile just for SH3D. No luck the graphics are still broken.

Re: Weird 3D Artifacts
Hello dear Sweet Home 3D users.
I started using the app 2 months ago, and I loved it so far. After learning the basics, I started designing our possible new house, but my previous PC configuration was pretty poor for 3D viewing and rendering. So, last week I upgraded my PC to an AMD Radeon 6600XT/Ryzen 5700X configuration and also added 32 Gbyte Ram.
Now I'm just really sorry that I didn't run into this thread earlier. I had the same problem as many others here. With the new AMD Adrenalin drivers, neither the 2d nor 3d view works properly. The final render runs fine though. Perceived problems and renderings are available in the link bellow:
Unfortunately, I can't switch back to previous working driver versions, as there are other applications that won't run with outdated drivers, and running 32 bit applications is not an option, as I had to switch to 64 bit in December because low memory problems with the actual project size.
I have read that Emmanuel Puybaret does not have the right configuration for testing and several people here have also hit a wall with AMD support, so the solution to the problem and the timeframe is completely uncertain.
At the moment I'm completely stuck and can't move forward with my project. If the situation persists for months, I would be forced to find an alternative program or replace the 6600XT with an Nvidia RTX 3600, which I really don't want to do.
I'm wondering if some kind of crowd funding could be a solution. i.e.: could we pool the money for Emmanuel to buy let say a used 6500 XT card, which is around 130-150 Euro second hand, so he could test the cause of the problem and possibly find a solution? If there are 15 of us and we only put in 10 Euros each, we would transfer the money to Emmanuel to buy a card second hand.
