3D rendering issues

Hi,
I just started working with SH3D. My first project is a house that I am going to build next year.
I modeled the house by hand using the drawings of my architect.

After importing some furniture I have some issues with the rendering.

System:
SH3D v6.6a portable
YafarayRendering-1.4.4
PhotoVideoRendering-2.3

YafaRay ; default settings ; 4pm ; 2000px

YafaRay ; default settings ; 4pm ; 4000px

SunFlow ; default settings ; 4pm ; 2000px

As you can see, I have different issues with the two rendering engines. For the ceiling lights I used the downlight by Ceciliabr. The table and the stool were imported form 3D Warehouse.

Thanks a lot!

Regards

Re: 3D rendering issues

Sorry for the huge images. I missed to decrease the resolution.
I see this behaviour on several other models as well:

Re: 3D rendering issues

This is generally due to imported DAE files which defined their shape with double faces (interior and exterior faces).
The easiest way to fix it is to make these faces invisible in the Furniture Materials dialog box. These materials shouldn't be visible in the preview of this dialog box when you select them and their name is generally very simple.

The small white spots on the windows are just some noise. Reducing the size of the rendered image will make them less visible.
