Fictional house for role-playing
A project I started on October 15, 2013. During an RP I realized I needed a reference of some kind for the house my character lived in. So first I needed a house plan witch I found on Dessins Drummond. I then contacted them to know if it was ok to use the plan for my project. After that started the fun of making the said house.
My first attempt was far from perfect, all the walls had the same thickness. Of course, I learned how to use the program over the years and keep editing the house as I learn to do stuff.
My next challenge is with the roof, as I never tried to make one. I have to figure out how tall to make my slop walls... I do know how to make them I just don't know how tall I should make my triangle since I want them to look as close to my model.

Custom furniture I made for the living room, except for the bottom shelves, that you can found in the Blend Swap section. The TV that you can found in the Scopia section. I used a frame to make the electric fireplace.

Re: Fictional house for role-playing
It’s been a while since I last update you on my house project.
So I decided to make a new SH3D file. I didn’t remember if the file I was working on was from 2013 or later. So I just started over to be safe. I have redone all the wall, and when I was done, I looked at my basement stair, and just thought that maybe I could add some storage there. So here the result:

Hi, long time since I posted here. I've finally decided to work on this again XD
Here my living room area, I'm tying to make it feel like people actually live in the house. + I'm also pretty mush winging it with the decor and stuff.

Here is the house plan, I removed most of the furniture. Just keept those that would come with the house.
Ground level
Second floor
I've made a Toyhouse profile for the house; https://toyhou.se/24965587.house I've even added information about my progress and stuff.

I tried to make the measure as close as possible as the model. I started with the 34'4 by 34' as a made my room I realized that the size in the top right image was wrong. It shows the length at 34' but as you can see I ended up with the 34'4 there... It feels like the size were inverted for some reason...
There were also the Living room that was highly confusing, the plan on the top right says 13'4" by 14'10" and the bottom one say 12'8" by 14'8".
The difference between the 14'10" and 14'8" is like 2"... but the 13'4" and 12'8"... About 8" so that's quite a lot...
I keep second-guessing all the size as I made this...

This one is mush more accurate, it will be easier to work with. + It has a mechanical room, which the other lacked.
