How to keep imported models such as windows and doors from flattening? I apologize if this has been asked before, I did a quick look back and then a search and I didn't find anything. Whenever I try to import some doors and windows and mark them as such, I can't actually use them when added to a wall because they immediately flatten. I've tried editing the depth, but then it doesn't look right. Is there a way to fix or avoid this? Thank you! |

Re: How to keep imported models such as windows and doors from flattening? Select your model and place it using the cursor keys, not the mouse. H ---------------------------------------- Hans new website - under constuction hansdirkse.info |

Re: How to keep imported models such as windows and doors from flattening? You could also place your imported doors after deactivating magnetism (see also this video). ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |

Re: How to keep imported models such as windows and doors from flattening? Oh, thank you both! That works and I'm so happy. I hadn't realized I could do that. |
