Show Azimuth and Elevation (possibly incorrect in SH3D) 11
Hi,

I really like that Sweethome 3D provides a simulation of sunlight based on location and time.

However, I noticed that even though Ive set the correct timezone and latitude/longitude, the times for sunrise and sundown in SH3D differ from what they really are for that time and place. It's several minutes difference on both ends, so a 17 minutes shorter day than reality. (Timezone Europe/Amsterdam, date June 20, latitude N51,98x longitude E 5.92x)

Sweethome 3D's sunrise and sundown:

Rise: 05:22
Down: 21:49

Official sunrise and sundown for that location:
Rise: 05:16
Down: 22:00

Not sure if anything is going wrong, although looks like it is, but would already help if the Azimuth and elevation used are shown in the render settings so I can validate.

Regards,
Martin

Could it have something to do with the difference between the actual and the perceived sundown?
Perhaps the official times are taking the atmospheric refraction into consideration?

No, those would be much earlier/later and would have a negative Elevation.

Civil twilight times for the situation described above:

04:27 and 22:48
