In search of furniture Hi, thanks for this program, finally something that works on my Linux machine :-) I'm just having a problem because of missing furniture. The program doesn't provide that much, and the links on the home page also didn't help (I'm looking for bathroom objects). Maybe it would be easier to find stuff if I knew the file formats? OK, 3ds stands for 3D Studio Max. But what about OBJ and LDS? [Note: this thread was started on sourceforge.net forums] |

Re: In search of furniture Some objects created by contributors are added regularly at http://sweethome3d.sourceforge.net/importModels.html . OBJ is a wavefront text format described at http://download.java.net/media/java3d/javadoc...bjectfile/ObjectFile.html . You may create this kind of files using Art of Illusion http://www.artofillusion.org/ , a 3D modeler hosted at sourceforge.net. ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |
