GPU rendering
Hi all,

I do not understand which unit sh3d uses to render, CPU or GPU? The usage is automatic based on the resolution and quality of the rendering (for example to render an image of 2000xsmthg it uses the GPU)?
I use sh3d on Ubuntu; is there some difference in the rendering process of sh3d in Ubuntu and Windows?

Thanks

Re: GPU rendering
The GPU is used to render the 3D view and to compute images at the two lowest quality levels. The CPU is used to run the program in general and to render images at the two best quality levels.
No difference between operating systems on this way to work.

Re: GPU rendering
Thank you for the answer.
I encountered another problem, sometimes when I stand by the PC with sh3d opened, once I restart the PC the sh3d 3d view lags very much, is it a problem someone else finds? Maybe it is a problem with java that causes it.

Re: GPU rendering
I know this problem by myself, and it seems to be a video driver problem. Since I'm working with the mainline kernels (current video drivers included) this problem has gone.
