Variable names on dimensions Hi, Is there a way to use variables to fill positions (x,y), dimensions, etc? I mean, I have many items that have the same width and would like to change it modifying just one variable. Is that possible? |

Re: Variable names on dimensions There’s no variable but if you want set the same size to a group of objects, select them (with a selection rectangle or thenshift key to add an object to current selection), choose Furniture > Modify menu item and set the value(s) you want in the modification dialog box. ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |

Re: Variable names on dimensions Thanks Emmanuel, That is actually helpful to set some attributes, but I need to do something more. I'm designing a furniture made of blocks of different sizes and positioned on different places to form, let's say, a box. The "X,Y, elevation" coordinates of one block are dependant on another blocks width or position. I would like to change, for example, the depth of a block, and then coordinates of the other blocks will change automatically. |
