Re: Move to git (and github)? Maybe this could get another thought in this days? I today found the SweetHome3D JS Version, then I wanted to use it in a webcomponetn. And for this I tried to fix some things. But now I tried to checkout the SVN Code in Windows, but it wll not work. With github the workflow is so much easier, and easier to submit some patches. Also sourcforge supports mirrowing to a github repo |

Re: Move to git (and github)? Of course, I also think that the one person who is driving the project forward with great commitment should also be allowed to choose the platform, etc. In my perception, however, the direction has developed even more in the direction of github, so I would be happy to see it on github as well. I think even contributions that might not be directly related to the core code would be easier with github. In case you would start thinking about migrating to GitHub, I myself could imagine contributing time in github regarding CI, static code analysis, supply chain security, dependency security, software bill of material, and other I'll call it good practices. (I must admit that I have not checked what is already in use. ) Thank you for the great tool! |
