The kitchen and all around...
A few months ago, I had an idea in my head.
That's what happens with the principe :
a little electric field runs inside or not.

Attention: registered patent by bdfd.

The doors of each piece of furniture are electrochromised.

This means that they become transparent/opaque through touch.
One Touch = Transparent and lights are ON

A second touch (unique) = opaque and lights are OFF

A double touch = aperture

Il y a quelques mois, j'avais une idée dans la tête.
Voilà ce que ça donne avec le principe :
1ere photo

Attention : brevet déposé par bdfd.

Les portes de chaque meuble sont électrochromiséés.
Cela veut dire qu'elles deviennent transparentes/opaques par le toucher.
Un toucher = transparente et lumières allumées
1ere image
Un second toucher (unique) = opaque et lumières éteintes
2nd image
Un double toucher = ouverture
3eme image

here is a new kitchen in a renovated house.

The wall between the kitchen and the dining room was cut down to place a sliding glazzed doors.

I have seen electrochromized glasses in offices (usually for meeting/conference rooms) and modern commercial jetliner windows. It would be interesting to see this application on furnitures.

Before renovation, it was an old house near downtown, with old bricks, old doors, old windows and an old roof...

I begin a little story...

Together, step by step follow this renovation...
Try to have a modern house.

Phase 1
The workers are arrived on the site and began working.
They installed the building site.
They installed the grates and removed the old doors and old windows.
They start removing old another things in the house.

Phase 1b
Workers continue to work on the site.
They installed the waste evacuation tube.
The tiles fell into the dumpster.

Phase 2

Roof is down.
The wooden frame that followed the same path as the tiles.
Scaffolding has been installed.
The waste is evacuated as and when.
New tools and materials are delivered.
The renovation will begin.

Phase 3

The yard has been enlarged.
To the left of the house, new foundations were poured with concrete.
The porotherm bricks have arrived.
The mason began to climb the walls.

In detail, we can see the steel sills.

Phase 4

The masons reached the first height for the garage.
They started the internal walls.
At the back, we see tubes coming out of the foundations :
1. From the cold water in blue,
2. Hot water in red,
3. Wastewater evacuations in gray,
4. Electricity in green.

We can see clamps and planks to cast the lintel at rear door.
The kitchen-cellar access door was made.
the waste evacuation tube has been removed.

The masons reached 99% of the finish of the garage.
The interior walls are finished.

New pallets of bricks will be coming soon.

once time the garage is finished, carpenters put the carpenting of the flat roof.

We continue the story…

On the other side of the building, the macons made the foundations of the master suite (right) and the extension of the living room (left).
New pallets of bricks have been delivered.

Phase 7

Holes in the walls were made.
One for the living room and the second for the Master Suite.
Masons have laced props.

NB: A texture has replaced color for 'monomur' bricks.
So the realism becomes better.

Phase 8

The new walls are erected for the Master suite and the living room.
The suite is equipped with windows for the WIC and the bathroom.
At this time only the ground floor is impacted.

A new hole near the garages is here for the new kitchen area.
It was made in the kitchen supported by 3 props.

The walls of the extensions are finished.
New openings have been created on the ground floor.

The modifications started on the first floor.
Large openings have been drilled.
