Unable to open .sh3d file (OSX 10.12.6)
Yesterday, I worked on a room as a part of a project and saved multiple times during the process of making it. Today, I tried opening the file and an error came up, saying that the file could not be opened. The product is good and really helped me but there's a serious problem when a file can't be opened by the same application and others have reported the same issue. I hope that if I was to move on, this would not happen again.

Please send your file to me, I'll have a look at it. It's not possible to guess your problem with so little info.

I just tried to open the file you sent without problem.
What version of Sweet Home 3D do you use? What error do you get?

Re: Unable to open .sh3d file (OSX 10.12.6)
I just realised that I never moved the SweetHome3D app from the downloads to the applications and assumed I did so I tried opening the file with a similar application...

*facepalm* Thanks anyway

Re: Unable to open .sh3d file (OSX 10.12.6)
I just downloaded this Sweet Home 3D version 5.7 and after days of working on a house drawing which I was handling fine - out of nowhere I lost both the house or plan view along with the 3D view. I tried everything to recapture the views and that was extremely frustratingl as I have been unsuccessful. Yet the file is like 1.35MB so I think the data is there but I just cannot see it? Can someone help me?
