Version 5.6 on LinuxMint safe to install?
I downloaded sweethome3d version 5.6 as .deb and did run it without installing. Seems to work all right but somehow slow. Installed is version 5.3 which is available in the LM repositories.

Anybody knows if it is safe to install 5.6 instead of 5.3 on LM latest?

Well, working with 5.6 since and encountered no problem so far. Like the additional features exp. the "join walls" one.

You don't have to use the repositories. Just download the program and unpack it. That's all.

If it doesn't run or crashes, use the file called SweetHome3D-Java3D-1_5_2 to start the program.
