Isometric View Tweak
Hi,

As I'm trying to get Isometric views from my models, I've come to try specifics settings with the "Virtual Visit" 3D View :

- body angle : 225°
- head's : 35°
- Field of view : 10° (lowest possible)

With the appropriate distance from the subject, the result is good but not perfect.
Verticals ligns are ... not exactly verticals, as I understand perspective rules are mistreated here.

Though, would it be possible to lower the camera's angle ever more to get the proper result ?
Or is there another solution ?

Looking forward to hear from you,
Regards,

Jdab

Re: Isometric View Tweak
Try a more recent version of Sweet Home 3D or even the version 5.5 beta, you'll be able to use a 1° field of view...

Re: Isometric View Tweak
Thank you very much Emmanuel, it helps a lot 👍
Field of views is still locked at 2° and result's not perfect, but I can deal with it.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the narrow field of view acts as a zoom, doesn't it ?
Had to take a 114 m. step back and 65 m. of height to capture a 2,8 m. cube.
I'll have to work my geometry out to get same results more easily.

Others improvements, like objet rotation, are much appreciated too !!

Thanks again

Re: Isometric View Tweak
Sorry for the wrong answer. I remember having programmed some tests with a minimum of 1°, but for some reasons, I finally kept 2° as a minimum value.

Yes, it's the same. Zooming actually changes the field of view of a lens.
