GPU rendering in 3d view?
Hello,
I've used program with integrated graphics. Today I've installed GTX 1050ti. Somewhere I've read that the GPU acceleration matters only in 3d view. However, I don't see any performance difference which should be significant given the difference in the Intel I5 3rd gen. and GTX 1050ti.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Hi,

I think you should ask Oracle to modify java. biggrin

Java must not work on the processor of the graphics card but on the main processor.
This is the problem (if I do not make any mistake) !!! crying

Only some specific softwares use the graphics card (autocad, 3D games, ...)

Re: GPU rendering in 3d view?
I know that, but I've read somewhere in this forum that the 3d view performance takes into account performance of the GPU as well (render is CPU only).
I've reinstalled the GPU drivers (and cleaned an old one) and noticed a little improvement.
