Re: How to create furniture with individually editable materials/textures/colors A bit hard to answer without knowing (the origin of) the .obj file in question. For .obj files to have materials they must be named in the .obj file and linked to an .mtl file. The .mtl file can again link to different bitmap textures (.jpg .gif .png). Normally all these files should be in the same directory when you import the furniture (or in one zip file). However, not all furniture files (.obj and other) have properly named surfaces (or come with .mtl files). Could be limitations of free versions of the models. It is possibly to edit the .obj file with software like Blender - but if the model is limited to begin with, it is rarely worth the trouble. ok |

Re: How to create furniture with individually editable materials/textures/colors How to change furniture with individually editable materials/textures/colors on individual parts of furniture. To use your objects, you must take a package which contains obj, mtl and textures, not only obj.when i downloaded any "obj" furniture, there are same color in every parts. ![]() ---------------------------------------- Evil progresses when good people do nothing! --- SH3D 7.1 and nothing else - W11 64b in 4K |
