Changing the format of the room area In my country, please like to see their room sizes in the foot' x foot' format rather than squared off. How to display a room area from lets say 60 sq ft to 10' x 6' without manually typing? Thanks |

Re: Changing the format of the room area You have to change the unit in Preferences. |

Re: Changing the format of the room area I am sorry but I am not able to find it in the preferences. I have already chosen foot/inch/fractions as Unit if that's what you mean. Correction to my OP... "In my country, people like to see.." rather than please like to see. |

Re: Changing the format of the room area Your way to note the area would work only for rectangular rooms! You could add dimension lines to indicate the room size too, or even a simple text displaying whatever you want. ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |

Re: Changing the format of the room area I have tried even in the rectangular rooms but still no option. Its always sq ft. |

Re: Changing the format of the room area By the way Puybaret, can you please add a feature to align windows/doors at the center of a wall? |

Re: Changing the format of the room area For my curiosity. How Your engineer note (define) this in Your country? ![]() Thanks in advance! ---------------------------------------- A computer program does what you tell it to do, not what you want it to do. Re: Changing the format of the room area The real estate industry here is boring. Mostly squares and rectangles so no problem with ft x ft format. You are right. I didnt consider a shape like that, like swimming pools. But most clients here care for the room dimensions more than swimming pool. Not that there are too many people that could afford a pool here.:P |
