Re: An Ugly Mansion - in detail.

@ HawkDawg
I looked up The Night Gallery on youtube, and got some great ideas for re-decorating. The show was unfortunately not shown on Danish ( or Norwegian) TV.
We wanted to make something like the mansion in Dark Shadows, but we soon realised that our ambition was greater than our skills.

Did y'all get a show called The Twilight Zone, back in the 50's and early 60's? That was another Rod Serling show. He was an excellent writer of the macabre genre. wink

BTW: I can appreciate your issues with concrete houses. We had our house completely re-wired after we bought it, and the electricians frustration was duly reflected on the bill :)[ [:))

Not only did the electrician feel the pain and frustration of working on a concrete building, but you also did. laughing

Hi Cec....
Now I understand your word "ugly' here.... If you translate it to Slovak it means something like "disgusting" .... But I think there is nothing disgusting here on your project. After your explanation I understand that better slovak word is "ošarpaný" or "schátraný"..... It means that the building is decayed but you can still feel the taste of great splendid past of this house...
