Headless Photo Render? Is there a way to use the Create Photos at Points of View feature from the command line without launching SH3D? I'd like to be able to create the photo renders on a system without a graphics card capable of running SH3D. Since the top quality options don't use the graphics card, I'm hoping to run this on a VM in the cloud with lots of horsepower to get faster renders. The current problem is SH3D won't even launch on these machines as there is no compatible graphics card on them. Any ideas how I might accomplish this? |

Re: Headless Photo Render? Please see ConsolePhotoGenerator class for the general idea, and updated instructions to run it. If you look how photos are computed for Create photos at points of view function, it shouldn't be too difficult for a programmer to adapt ConsolePhotoGenerator class. ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |
