printing option : is it possible to hide the furnitureHello, When I print a level of the house, there are three printing options I can (des)activate:
does the option "print without furniture" exist ? I may be helpful when I want to skip all existing furniture to get only the rooms', doors', walls' measures on my printed PDF. |

Re: printing option : is it possible to hide the furniture Hi, I think that there is no option available. But you can select the furniture in left frame and with a right click of the mouse on this selection, choose 'modify furniture' and you click on 'visible' option (or not) in the window. Re: printing option : is it possible to hide the furniture One trick that can be useful is locking the plan (little pad-lock) and select everything and delete (temporarily). When the plan is locked, walls, floors and furniture marked 'Part of base plan" (like most windows and doors) will not be selected. ok |

Re: printing option : is it possible to hide the furniture Why too dangerous? Sweet Home 3D never saves a file by itself. And if you're not enough confident in yourself to avoid overwriting a file, you can save the file after doing this. An other way could be to create a level at same elevation where you'll cut paste all the stuff you don't want to print. Then when you want to print, just make that level not viewable, and make it viewable back once done. ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |

Re: printing option : is it possible to hide the furniture Thanks Mr Puybaret for your answer. I was thinking about creating a new feature request regarding this printing option, but i already found 4 open feature requests which handle this point, therefore i will do nothing. #446 Option to export "pure" floor plan (walls, doors, windows) https://sourceforge.net/p/sweethome3d/feature-requests/446/ #549 Imprimer sans les meubles https://sourceforge.net/p/sweethome3d/feature-requests/549/ #691 Allow grouping and hiding dimensions just like furniture. https://sourceforge.net/p/sweethome3d/feature-requests/691/ #754 : #754 Hide ALL furniture on print https://sourceforge.net/p/sweethome3d/feature-requests/754/ |

Re: printing option : is it possible to hide the furniture ... and delete (temporarily)... Too dangerous... ![]() Like error is human or a fast cut of electricity... ![]() Simpliest is (I think) my solution (to read again). ![]() ---------------------------------------- Evil progresses when good people do nothing! --- SH3D 7.1 and nothing else - W11 64b in 4K |
