Transparent shapes not rendering correctly in best quality
I've made transparent shapes using the Generate 3D shape plug-in tool to simulate glass partition walls. They render correctly in the plan and on the two lower quality photo settings but they won't render correctly in the two higher quality photo settings. All the objects render as though they are completely transparent. Is there a solution to this problem please?

Re: Transparent shapes not rendering correctly in best quality
How did you define the material you used for the shapes?

Checked - models created with the 3D shape generator (with no material change) showed different degrees of transparency in the rendering - just as indicated. Maybe you could share a file?
ok

Re: Transparent shapes not rendering correctly in best quality
Thanks for your replies. From my tests this evening, a shape (box) that is almost totally opaque and whose materials are unchanged renders as opaque in the 3D view (and in the lower two quality photo settings) but transparent in the two higher quality photo settings.
But when the faces are given a colour it seems to render correctly as almost opaque in the two higher quality settings.

So that seems to be the solution... give the shape a colour, otherwise it is totally transparent in highest quality settings.

The only exception I've found is that when the shape is 100% opaque it renders correctly as opaque at any quality whether unchanged or not, i.e whether uncoloured or coloured.
