Chrome material and Sketchup Hi, Every time I export models with reflective surfaces (chrome, mirrors) made in sketchup, objects appears grey in the rendering output of SH3D. Is there a way to draw reflective objects that keeps this property ? Thank in advance for your anwers. |

Re: Chrome material and Sketchup Assuming that the reflection in the edit material dialogue is not enough, you can make mirror-like renderings in SH3D Have a look at thread 6475 / SourceForge 303. It is also possible to adjust the reflection properties in Wavefront files (.obj / .mtl). ok |

Re: Chrome material and Sketchup Also see my comment here. I've used this technique successfully to create chrome-plated features on objects. |
