How to delete items (specifically walls...) Just started using this, but for the life of me, can't figure out how to delete anything. eg create a wall, decide it's wrong, and want to delete, so select it, right click, and click delete, all it seems to do is unselect it... if I modify and make it 0 length, I can *sort* of (sometimes) delete it, but this seems rather wrong... Please help. |

Re: How to delete items (specifically walls...) It should work as you have tried. What operating system are you using? Could it be an issue with your mouse? Another thing you could try is highlighting the wall or other item and hit the delete key on your keyboard. ---------------------------------------- Hawk |

Re: How to delete items (specifically walls...) Yep, have just installed, and only trying to create a new file. All I have done is create a wall, then try to delete it.. Have tried the various options to delete - right-click menu, delete key, top menus - all give the same response (ie just appears to "unselect" the wall - not delete) Running Opensuse Leap 42.1 x64. Did have the issue with Preferences closing the app, but then ran the SweetHome3D-NoOffscreen link. All keys and mouse work fine with every other app... Not sure. |

Re: How to delete items (specifically walls...) I have the same problem as reported by 'hornetster'. Not able to delete the wall. I have just installed it through Sweet Home 3D with Java Web Start. My OS is Ubuntu 14.04 LTS. Version of the Java is given below java -version java version "1.7.0_95" OpenJDK Runtime Environment (IcedTea 2.6.4) (7u95-2.6.4-0ubuntu0.14.04.1) OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 24.95-b01, mixed mode) |

Re: How to delete items (specifically walls...) I had the same problem with not being able to delete or undo anything. As a newbie, those are heavily-used functions. Thanks Puybaret, but why does the defective JNLP version remain on the Download page? It makes the product look bad. |

Re: How to delete items (specifically walls...) Hi! I could solve this. Problem was, that the wall I wanted to delete, was hided. Unhide the wall and you can delete it. ;) Agnes |
