Glass box angled to vertical I'm looking for a glass box where the angle to the vertical plane can be changed e.g. 5, 10, 15 degrees to the vertical. Any ideas please? |

Re: Glass box angled to vertical Box with transparent texture (or transparency set). When importing, use shift with the green rotation arrows to change angle in single degree increments. Or did I misunderstand? ok |

Re: Glass box angled to vertical Thanks for your reply Okh, but it doesn't work as I expected. It seems to scew the box so it is no longer a cube. What I'm looking for is a way to rotate the box without scewing it. What I'm trying to do is create a glass wall which is at an angle to the vertical e.g. 5, 10, 20 degrees. Any ideas please? John |

Re: Glass box angled to vertical Sorry, I mean without skewing the box.... |

Re: Glass box angled to vertical I may still not quite get it... Is your concept the same as in thread 5601? Sent you an example by e-mail. You can change the rotation of an object while importing, but once it has been imported the rotation is no longer available from inside SH3D. Hence it will skew when dimensions are changed (disproportionally). Which means you must export to .obj and re-import to get a new rotation without distortion. Or, you could use the furniture library editor to change the rotation of the object in a library. But again, maybe I miss something here. ok |
