Night Sky Rendering Hi, First of all a big thanks for releasing the Version 5.0. Great many features. I have noticed that while rendering a scene (indoor/outdoor)at night time (after sun set)the sky remains the same as per the 3d view modified texture/colour. I was wondering if a real night sky with stars and moon is possible in SH3D. If so how and if not is it possible to put that feature in this version or a later version. This will surely give a better rendered image or video specially during night. Thanks in advance. |

Re: Night Sky Rendering Thanks Hansmex. I know the that I can change the sky texture. But my intension was not that. I was wondering if the sky appearance changes during rendering in real time like how the amount of light changes in the day time depending on the time of the day and month of the year. I don't know if you have used Lumion, where you can control the position of the sun/moon and have a real time night sky with stars. |

Re: Night Sky Rendering Yes, the amount of light changes during the day. You can make a photo/video that shows how the shadows fall during different times by correctly setting your geographical location, orientation towards North and the (start and end) time of day. Re: Night Sky Rendering You are absolutely right. So similarly why does it not happens when I set the time as night. The appearance of the sky remains the same that I had set in the Modify 3D view!! any tips to set it automatically along with the time set in the rendering window. |

Re: Night Sky Rendering If you want movement in your videos (water, people walking, etc), that is not possible. The rest is possible: moving camera, changing height, zooming in/out, etc. H ---------------------------------------- Hans new website - under constuction hansdirkse.info |

Re: Night Sky Rendering No, I am not looking for movements. I am just looking for the night sky with stars and moon as shown in the 1st link sent. Is that possible automatically with change of time in the rendering window. |
