Sketchup to Sweet Home 3DHi everyone.. is there any way to use Sketchup models in SH3D? im not talking about exporting as .obj file and then import it as furniture model... I want to be able a whole home plan created by Sketch be opened in SH3D, not as a single imported module, i want to access all parts and objects in individual... like its a SH3D plan... i searched a lot but aint got anything and i don't hope so... but is there any way by any chance to do that or something like that? Thanks |

Re: Sketchup to Sweet Home 3D Sorry it's not possible. Sweet Home 3D isn't a object modeler and I don't think it will ever be. And even if it was, its file format wouldn't be a proprietary and undocumented one like Sketchup's one. I know there exists some libraries to access SKP file content but still, they are not open source and are available in C, making it more difficult to use from a Java program like Sweet Home 3D. ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |
