Can I join two different sh3d-files?

Is it possible to join two different sh3d-files?

I allready have made a building, and I would like to add a loftet ceiling/roof. Can i make the loftet ceiling/roof i another file, and then join the two files later. (Put on the roof:-)

1 - Open source file and target file
2 - Make sure you're on the same level in both files
3 - Use CTRL-A to select everything
4 - Use CTRL-C and CTRL-V to copy-paste everything

Re: Can I join two different sh3d-files?
Thank you for the quick reply to what I now view as a stupid question. Sorry!
I have another question, if you have the time. I have made a wall and inserted a window. I have exported the wall and windows as an obj-file. I hoped to import it using the furniture-import wizard and give the wall a 45 degree angle to use as a sloped roof with a windows. But no matter what I do, the wall ends op with no angle.
Do you have any ideas?

Did you draw the wall (roof-to-be) at an angle in SH3D, e.g. 45 degrees from 0,0 to 500,500?

Hint, you can create connected walls both sides to control the angle of roof ends, but export only the selected wall (with window).

In case you didn't notice, you can change the orientation of the imported 3D model degree by degree by keeping the shift key pressed when you click on orientation arrows at the second step of the import wizard.

If any consolation, I have seen the import wizard dialogue hundreds of times. And I have yet to notice... smile Only goes to show that SH3D users should not be fooled by how easy it is to access the basic functions. There is a short-cut and extended function in every screen. Guess I need pay attention to the instructions and keep learning how to use Shift/Ctrl/Alt/Option keys. ok
