Tilted track light
Hi everybody. My 1st post.
I am very impressed with the Sweet Home package.

Now I am modeling a garret (or attic, not sure what's the correct word in english, I mean a room right under the roof, with sloping ceiling).
I successfully drew sloping walls, etc..
Now I want to add some lights. I need to place a track light on the sloping ceiling, oriented in such way that it is as tilted as the ceiling.
A base model like the "Track lights" included in the downloaded Portable version 4.5 is fine, but it is not tilted.
So I placed the base "Track lights" furniture, exported to OBJ, imported back, tilted at the 2nd step of the import wizard, placed.
The result looks fine, but now it is a piece of furniture, not a light source. When I create a photo, no light is sourced. See example .
You can see that the light bar is projecting its own shadow, not sourcing light.

This was described by Thread "Include light in Export to OBJ format".

Is there a way to place a tilted light track which also sources light?

Thanks for your help!

Re: Tilted track light
You could, if I understand your question correctly, add light sources (the ones without a lamp model) after you have imported and tilted your model.

It is also possible to add light source properties to the actual model with the help of a Furniture Library (see for instance thread 5206).

ok

Re: Tilted track light
Thanks for your suggestions.
I tried Furniture Library Editor, but found that light properties are not-as-easy-as-expected to add. Must be entered manually, need coordinates for each spotlight, maybe even opening angle, etc.

I am trying now with individual lamp bulbs added in front of the track spotlights.

Cheers!
