Furniture Collisions Hi Experts, I'm just learing the program, so maybe a stupid question. Is there a way to block overlapping of furniture? I mean, now I can set fridge onto the wardrobe or other things. The only collision that is detected (and not allowed), I cannot set wardrobe (furniture) inside a wall. A workaround I found is to use 'Allign side by side' as described here: http://www.sweethome3d.com/blog/2012/04/29/sweet_home_3d_3_5.html The point is, it's working only for selected pieces of furniture. Moreover, new elements still can overlap old ones. Is there an option I need to switch on or something like this? Regards, Daniel |

Re: Furniture Collisions If Preferences Magnetism is enabled, you should experience that the model (furniture) pauses movement when moved to the edge of another piece of furniture. But you will still be allowed to move it further to let furniture overlap. After all, you may want to place a lamp on top of a table etc. ok PS Magnetism can be temporarily disabled by pressing ALT. |
