Smart guides, snap to object etc IMO it would be really handy to have more elaborate snapping and aligning tools like Adobe Illustator's smart guides. Being able to intersect and subtract objects would be nice as well. |

Re: Smart guides, snap to object etc Agreed. Snapping would be very useful and also being able to lock individual objects when needed, instead of just the floor plan. |

Re: Smart guides, snap to object etc Some sort of snap to edge as an alt+ drag or alt+shift drag to get wall ends to align would be really helpful. |

Re: Smart guides, snap to object etc Yes. Have objects snap to each other. I plan to use SH3D mainly for kitchen design and the ability to have cabinet sides snap together would be very helpful. |

Re: Smart guides, snap to object etc Objects already snap to each other when magnetism is active. Just try it gently. ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |

Re: Smart guides, snap to object etc ...being able to lock individual objects when needed, instead of just the floor plan. I agree with this. |
