Re: Delete account Unfortunately, it's not a feature that is available in mvnforum. I could add this feature myself, but you should know that as soon as you posted a message in the forum, it would be impossible to unregister your account completely, otherwise posted messages wouldn't have an author anymore! Deleting messages with their author is of course not something I want to program too, because it would create inconsistent threads. Even if a member never posted a message, there could be some problems if his information was completely removed in the database: it would free his login name letting other new members to register with it. Not sure, it's a behavior that deleted members really want! So what would you suggest if I had to program such a feature? Re: Delete account Other forums keep the messages marking them as posted by "anonymous" or even preserving the user name but removing the link to the profile. In both cases the links related to the user in the post bottom, as "profile", "pm", "mail" and so would disappear too. ---------------------------------------- If a long walk every day were healthy, mailmen would be immortal.  |
