Manjaro GNU/Linux Java Update Broke SH3D - Missing Icons
Yesterday the Java Runtime Environment update on my Manjaro GNU/Linux installation broke SH3D - Icons and labels were missing from the menus.
I was able to fix it using PacmanXG (available from the AUR) by downgrading the packages jre7-openjdk and jre7-openjdk-headless back to version 7.u55_2.4.7-1 each. I also added the packages to the Ignore List so that they won't get automatically updated and brake Sweet Home again.
This of course is only a temporary fix as eventually I will have to update my Java.
Does anyone know why it broke and if any permanent fixes are possible/on the way?
Thank you
Mike

You should rather report this issue to the OpenJDK team. The broken Java version must 7u60 released a few weeks ago.
